THE RELENTLESS HON. JAMES GYAKYE QUAYSON OF THE GHANAIAN ANATOMY PULLS ANOTHER WIN

Hon. James Gyakye Quayson who was relieved of his position as Member of Parliament for The Assin-North Constituency of The Ghanaian Anatomy, has re-won the Bye-Elections again and secured the Constituency for his Political Party; National Democratic Congress in Ghana’s House of Parliament.

Hon. James Quayson was expelled from the House of Parliament due to his dual citizenship which breached the laws of Ghana for any Member of Parliament. Hon. James Gyakye Quayson won the 2020 General Elections on the ticket of The National Democratic Congress but was relieved of his position because according to the Supreme Court, he had a Canadian citizenship aside his Ghanaian citizenship whilst standing in as a Parliamentary Candidate for the 2020 General Elections.

In the Bye-Elections, Hon. James Quayson had 57.56 percent of the total votes cast whilst Mr. Charles Opoku of The New Patriotic Party had 42.15 percent of the total votes cast. 29, 962 were the total number of valid votes cast.
