Dr. Nkrumah was the Pacesetter of Africa’s Freedom. He set the strides right by fighting against the hard fisted imperialistic leaders who did not want to see any good in Africa, but wanted to keep Africa in their coffee before and post our independence. As the first country to gain Independence om 1957, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah fought to ensure that the total will of oir sovereignty was in our hands thereby making Ghana a Republic on 1st July, 1960.
Dr. Nkrumah fought very much for change and sought to see that wherever he steeped foot on during his lifetime, there was liberation. His stand to see to Ghana gaining independence within the shortest possible time was hisark towards ensuring the African Revolution. He knew Africa should be ruled African ls and accepted no medioctity. His popular stance, we move not to the West or to the east but we move forward has been a phenomenal stride that has kept future generations I’m the quest never to go back, but to keep persisting and fighting for our Freedom. He built many schools, factories, institutions, road networks, and paved the way for smooth development in Ghana.
Today, AFRICAN VOICES INTERNATIONAL celebrates such a Trailblazor, of whom we know, that even though he has passed away, he stopped lives with us and continues to be the reflection of the path, we must take at all times. We wish all Freedom Giants, a Happy Nkrumah Memorial Day.
