The Somalian Anatomy has been enjoined into the East African Community making the country, the eighth member of the bloc within the African continent. This was announced by the Chairman of the East African Community; Evariste Ndayishimiye, President of The Burundian Anatomy.
The East African Community was instituted in 2000 to remove trade restrictions and encourage free trade within members of the bloc. Before Somalia, Democratic Republic of Congo was the last member that was accepted to join the community in April 2022. President of the Somalian Anatomy, H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud at the summit expressed his great exhilaration over the acceptance by the East African Community in adding his country to the community as he looked forward to a new era of brighter opportunities for The Somalian Anatomy.
The addition of The Somalian Anatomy to the East African Community has brought much joy to the Government of The Somalian Anatomy as they had been seeking to be part of the community since 2012. The addition of The Somalian Anatomy to the East African Community will enable them to enjoy the rights for all members of the bloc.
