Margaret Nduta 37, a woman from the Kenyan Anatomy, has been sentenced to death and is scheduled to be hanged today, 17th March, 2025. Her family still don’t understand how their daughter has been convicted of the act after her mother stated that she was brought up with high Christian values.
Margaret Nduta was arrested in July 2023 while travelling to Laos and was convicted on March 6th 2025 for trafficking two kilos of cocaine. Vietnam laws posits that anyone caught smuggling more than 600 grams of heroin faces a death penalty. She will be having her last meal at 4:30 PM UTC and will hanged to death today Monday, 17th March at 5:30 PM UTC.

Nduta stated that she has no idea of carrying drugs and was hired by someone from her country to deliver a suitcase to someone at the airport only to be arrested at Ho Chi Minh Airport. Her family has been pleading with the Government to intervene on behalf of Margaret Nduta to have her pardoned or at least serve a jail sentence in Kenya rather than to be hanged today; March 17th 2025.
