The Ministry of Defence for the Nigerian Anatomy has stated that, a new terrorist group known as ‘Lukarawas’ has emerged from Niger, after the coup that led to the break in military co-operations between the Nigerian and Nigerien Anatomies.
Lukurawa are affiliated with terrorists in the Sahel region and have moved to Nigeria due to the instability in their area. They have settled in Northern Nigeria, particularly in Sokoto and Kebbi in Nigeria.
However, the Nigerian military also on Thursday 7th November, stated that, they have opened their doors for terrorists after some terrorist leaders in the north central part of Nigeria indicated that, they were ready to surrender their arms.
