ANDRY RAJOELINA OF THE MALAGASY ANATOMY TAKES OVER FOR A THIRD TERM

President Rajoelina won last month’s elections with 59 percent of the entire votes but the results were challenged by Siteny Randrianasoloniaiko and Marc Ravalomanana who was a former President for the Malagasy Anatomy.

The results for the Elections were challenged and taken to the High Court but the High Court on Friday 1st December, declared Mr. Andry Rajoelina as the winner of the Elections.

Presidential Elections for The Malagasy Anatomy were slated for 9th November 2023 were taken to 16th November, 2023 with a second round off if scheduled to December 20th. President Andry Rajoelina of the Malagasy Anatomy who was looking forward to winning the heart of the people to retain his position as the President of Madagascar won the Elections, but the results were challenged by the Opposition.

President Rajoelina came to power in 2009 through a Coup Detat and left on January 24 2014 after Hery Rajaonarimampianina took over from January 25th 2014 to September 7, 2018. President Andry Rajoelina came back to Power this time democratically elected from January 2019 till present.

Almost 90 percent of the candidates who took part in the Elections spoke even before the Elections, against President Rajoelina’s term of office citing the upcoming elections for the Island Nation, as invalid. Six candidates also withdrew from the upcoming elections slated for 9th November.
