General Abdourahamane Tiani, current Military Leader of The Nigerien Anatomy, who seized Power from Mohammed Bazoum on July 26th 2023, this Thursday 23rd November 2023, visited Mali and Burkina Faso which are their direct neighbouring countries.
Gen. Tchiani in both meetings with both counterparts; Gen. Assimi Goita and Captain Ibrahim Traoré respectively of the Malian and Burkinabé Anatomies, spoke on entrenching their bonds as one people to fight against all forms of all forms of possible attacks against their countries. Both meetings have strengthened the Sahel Alliance’s goal which was formed in 16th September 2023 to protect the three neighbouring countries from all forms of external aggression or rebellion.
President Tiani of The Nigerien Anatomy has promised to return Political Power to the People within a space of three years. He was also very grateful to both leaders for their support should ECOWAS have brought their military into Niger to restore Ex-President Mohammed Bazoum back to Power. The Nigerien Military under Gen. Abdourahamane Tiani removed President Bazoum due to tensions between the Ex-Government and the Military. The Military also cited a rise in Insecurity as a main reason for Ex-President Bazoum’s ousting.
