CURFEW IMPOSED IN OTI REGION (REGION LOCATED FOR THE GHANAIAN ANATOMY) ON 21/11/2023

Nkwanta, a town located in the Oti Region, a region located in the Eastern central zone of Ghana, was placed under a curfew following a shooting spiral in the town.

Armed Men stormed the Market in the town and started shooting leading to at least 8 people loosing their lives. The curfew was placed by the Minister for the Interior for The Ghanaian Anatomy, Hon. Ambrose Dery who also sits as the Member of Parliament for Nandom in the Upper West Region of Ghana.

The curfew took place on Tuesday 21st November, 2023 from 5:00PM to 6:00AM UTC. A ban has also been placed on all people in the town from carrying guns and ammunition. The Police together with assistance with the Minister of the Oti Region, Hon. Joshua Mukubu have begun crucial investigations to bring to order Peace in the town and arrest all those involved in the incident.
