The United States Government on Monday held a ceremony at Alaska to remember the September 11 2001 attack that took place in the Twin Towers leaving about 2,500 people dead and about 6000 people wounded, under President George Bush’s tenure who led the American Anatomy from January 20th 2001 to January 20th, 2009.

On September 11th, Osama Bin Laden was behind the act which led to 4 passenger aeroplanes being captured. Osama Bin Laden did this to push against the Plan of the United States Government to fight against terrorism in Afghanistan and Iraq which had led to at least 4.5 million people being killed before January 2001. These four passenger aeroplanes were captured by Al-Qaeda terrorists with 2 crushing into the World Trade Center, one crushing into the Pentagon and another crushing into an open field after a passenger in that place tried to fight back.

Last year’s programme took place in Lower Manhattan. This year’s event which took place in Alaska was the 22nd anniversary of the September 11 attacks. President Biden noted that the American Anatomy were wounded in their hearts 22 years ago when the act happened. He however noted that, every generation has to fight back against political extremism and violence to save the democracy of the people. The United States’ Secretary of State; Anthony Blinken, also noted that, the American Anatomy must fight against acts of terrorism and ensure that terrorists are held accountable for their crimes. After years of hunt for the brain behind the September 2001 attacks, Osama Bin Laden was captured and killed on May 2nd, 2011 under the Obama Administration who led the American Anatomy as President from January 2009 to January 2017.
