The National Democratic Congress, major Opposition Party for the Ghanaian Anatomy officially launched the Running Mate; Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang, as the running mate for the Presidential Candidate, John Mahama on 24th April, 2024 ahead of their General Elections in December 2024.
The launch took place at the University of Professional Studies with Fiifi Fiavi Kwetey, General Secretary, Asiedu Nketsia, Chairman of the National Democratic Congress all present at the programme.
Prof. Jane Opoku Agyemang was grateful to all sundry for endorsing her approval. She noted that President Mahama has chalked success before and will redo it again. She also showed her appreciation towards ensuring gender inclusivity that women are also capable of higher achievements who can do so with equal mental accuracy. She has stated that during their time, there will be better delivery of services and also a gender inclusive period. She spoke on the creation of a Women’s Development Bank towards ensuring women empowerment, providing employment as well for Women and creating the necessary systems for Women in higher positions.
Ex-President Deputy Minister for Communications, Vice President for The Republic of Ghana, former President and the current Presidential Candidate for the National Democratic Congress, ahead of the 2024 Presidential Elections was elated to formally launch Prof. Jane Agyemang as his running mate.
