OTTO ADDO OF THE GHANAIAN ANATOMY NAMED AS BLACK STARS HEAD COACH

The Ghanaian Anatomy’s National Football Team; The Black Stars of Ghana, after performing poorly at the just ended CAN 2023/4 have decided to appoint Coach Otto Addo as their new Head Coach. This becomes his second contract officiating as the Black Stars Head Coach.

Coach Otto Addo headed the Black Stars Team in 2022 and led Ghana as well in the 2022 World Cup. Coach Addo takes over from Chris Hughton who took Ghana to the just ended African Cup of Nations but got Ghana eliminated at the group stages. Coach Addo will lead the Black Stars in two friendly games against Uganda and Nigeria this month, March.

Coach Addo is expected to Coach the National Team for 34 months with the option to extend his contract for 24 months. He will be beginning his official contract in May 2024 as he signs out from Dortmund Football Club as a Talent Coach. He has also named Joseph Painstill and Fatau Dauda, all former Black Stars Players as part of his Technical Team.

The Global Freedom Board of AFRICAN VOICES INTERNATIONAL commends the Ghana Football Association for believing in their fellow African to head the Black Stars. We believe it is a step in the right direction in appending our confidence towards the African Man and Woman as one who can manage his or her own affairs.
