THE SANITATION MINISTER FOR THE GHANAIAN ANATOMY RESIGNS FOLLOWING TONS OF STATE MONEY MISSEN IN HER CONFINES

Hon. Cecilia Dapaah who until Saturday 22nd July, 2023 was the Sanitation Minister for the Ghanaian Anatomy under the jurisdiction of H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has resigned. The Sanitation Minister who imitially was the Deputy Minister for Water Resources, Works and Housing has resigned because of that she has reported missen in her house at Abelenkpe situated in Accra.

Hon. Cecilia Dapaah a former Member of Parliament for The Bantama Constituency from January 2005 to January 2013 has resigned because she said her 2 house helps have stolen $1 million, €300,000 and an undisclosed amount of Ghana Cedis from her house. The two maids by name Patience Botwe 18 and Sarah Agyei 30 are reported by Hon. Cecilia Dapaah to have stolen the money between July and October of the year 2022. The two house helps have been on trial at an Accra Circuit Court and are awaiting judgement.

Ms. Cecilia Dapaah earlier on was also placed on house arrest and will be investigated by the Office of The Special Prosecutor; an office in Ghana responsible for investigating various criminal suspected activities and fighting corruption in the country. Mr. Kissi Agyebeng is currently the Special Prosecutor in Ghana.

The Global Freedom Board of AFRICAN VOICES INTERNATIONAL charges The Government of Ghana, The Opposition Parties, The Judiciary together with The Special Prosecutor (The Political Anatomy) to take this matter into serious reckon and investigate the incident. The African Anatomy is faced with abject poverty. Economic conditions cannot get worse because state money which is supposed to be used for Economic Development is missen. We must rise to the call and proactively fight for the betterment of our country.
