Winnie Mandela fought for Political Sovereignty and Equality in South Africa. She fought tirelessly against the apartheid rule in South Africa. Winnie Mandela was jailed a lot of times, for campaigning against apartheid rule and racial discrimination. She was a gallant supporter of Democracy in South Africa.

Winnie Mandela was the second wife of Nelson Mandela, and their marriage was from 1958 to 1992. Winnie Mandela supported her former Husband, Nelson Mandela, very much during his time of imprisonment. She campaigned for the release of Nelson Mandela from prison. She was a blessing to him in all ways, till they broke up shortly after Nelson Mandela, came out from Jail.
