A statue that was made in honour of the former President of the Ghanaian Anatomy, H.E. Nana Akufo-Addo, has been erected by unknown people.

The statue, which was unveiled in November 2024 in the western region of Ghana, at the Effia Nkwanta roundabout, has been mocked at by majority of Ghanaians, citing the statue as irrelevant and a waste of resources.

The statue had been broken with the head erected. President Mahama, who won the December 7th elections in a landslide victory, criticised the erection of the statue.
