The Governments of The Ghanaian and South African Anatomies have reached an agreement to enable all citizens within both Anatomies to travel without any visa requirements. This directive will begin from 1st November, 2023.
Post November 1, 2023, all registered citizens from both countries will be able to fly within both territories visa free. The agreement also enables all travellers from both regions to be able to also transit through both locations within a cumulative period of 90days without any recourse to work.
This negotiation is one that is more likely to strengthen more Governments in Africa to enable such visa free agreements within their territories. In January, The Governments of The South African and and Kenyan Anatomiea appended to the same visa free agreements.
