Mr. FATHI BASHAGA SUSPENDED BY THE TOBRUK PARLIAMENT

Fathi Bashagha the Prime Minister supported by the Eastern Parliament of The Libyan Anatomy has been suspended by the Parliament. The Parliament which represents The Legislative Arm of Libya moved from the capital of Libya which is Tropoli to Tobruk which is in Eastern Libya.

Mr. Bashagha who had been serving as Prime Minister of Libya ruling from Tobruk has been suspended. His role as a Prime Minister has been handed over to the Finance Minister; Osama Hamada, working from Tobruk. Mr. Fathi Bashagha was appointed as Prime Minister by the Eastern Parliament in 2022 with the purpose of removing Mr. Abdulhamid al-Dbeibah from office. In 2014, the Libyan Parliamentarians moved to Tobruk after they were unable to remove the Government of National Unity from Power.

The Tobruk based Parliament have been working to cease power from Mr. Abdulhamid al-Dbeibah who also serves as Prime Minister of The Libyan Anatomy and operates from Tripoli, the capital of Libya. Post Colonel Muammar Gaddafi’s death, The Libyan Anatomy has been in Political turbulence since. The Government has failed to lead as a Political Anatomy, as the country is being led by 2 administrative blocs; The Government of National Unity in the West led by Mr. Abdulhamid al-Dbeibah and Mr. Fathi Bashaga from the East.
