The Institute of Economic Affairs has announced that there will Presidential and Vice Presidential debates prior to the December Elections for the Ghanaian Anatomy.
The Institute has stated that the debates will take place in October and November. The Institute at their press conference on Wednesday 7th August 2024 stated that, they have started consulting the various political parties to confirm their participation in the debate. They have stated that they will announce the date, the time and venues after their engagements with the various political parties is completed.
Fellow Sophia Akuffo who was the Chief Justice for the Ghanaian Anatomy from June 2017 to December 2019, and currently a fellow of the IEA stated at the press conference on the 7th August that, the debate will help the masses have a clearer understanding of the policies of the political candidates so they can make a better assessment on whom to choose.
