Road Fund, a wing under the Ministry of Transport for the Basotho Anatomy has appointed their first ever female Chief Executive Officer by name Mrs. Mats’epang Sekhokoane. She takes over from Mr. Nkekeletse Makara who had been CEO of Road Fund for 11 years.
The Road Fund is responsible for the collection of revenue for enough receipts to aid road infrastructure for the Basotho Anatomy.
Mrs. Mats’epang Sekhokoane will be leading the department on a five year contract. She takes over as the forth but first female CEO of the Scheme. She resumed Office on Monday 8th July, 2024. She has worked prior to her new position at the Lesotho Revenue Authority, Lesotho Highlands Development Authority, an Ambassador of Lesotho to China and at the World Bank.
Mrs. Mats’epang Sekhokoane is pleased with her new position and has stated that, she will work very efficably to ensure the collection of the required funds for the development of roads in Lesotho and the progression of the Basotho Anatomy.
