PRESIDENT RUTO OF THE KENYAN ANATOMY, FIRES HIS CABINET

President William Ruto has sacked his entire cabinet including the Attorney General, due to protests all over the country surrounding the economic crisis and proposed bill as well as corruption, in the country.

The Deputy President; Rigathi Gachagua, the Prime Cabinet Secretary; Musalia Mudavadi, and the Atttorney General; Justin Muturi were exempted by the President from the firing. President Ruto fired his cabinet after paying a holistic call to protesters, who had been speaking against the proposed tax hikes in the Finance Bill 2024 which was later scrutinised and has been dropped.

President Ruto has stated post the firing of his cabinet that, he will engage in extensive consultations across different sectors and political formations for a broad based government.

President Ruto has stated that, all Government proceedings will continue with the supervision of civil servants.

According to the Kenyan Constitution and Legal Framework, one cannot be a Minister and at the same time, a Parliamentarian. One has to forfeit one of the positions. 3 of the ministers who were fired were Parliamentarians two years ago before they left those offices to take Ministerial positions for the Kenyan Anatomy.
