PRESIDENT MOHAMED BAZOUM OF THE NIGERIEN ANATOMY OUSTED

President Mohamed Bazoum who has been President of The Nigerien Anatomy 🇳🇪 has been ousted by the Military of his country. The Military from Niger announced this on the state television on Wednesday evening, 26th July 2023. The West African Country which is landlocked between Mali to the left and Chad to the right is currently under no Civilian leadership. The Military cited Security issues as well as poor economic governance as reasons behind the ousting.

President Mohamed Bazoum had been President of The Nigerien Anatomy since April 2021 till July 2023 when he was ousted by the Military of Niger. The information regarding his overthrow was said by Colonel Major Amadou Abdramane who announced the ousting of President Mohamed Bazoum. Colonel Amadou also stated that the Constitution of the National Anatomy had been dissolved pending a new constitution. The soldiers have also removed the Nigerien Government from power and as a result, the Military will be taking power fully. Mr. Antonio Guterres, the United Nations Secretary General has strongly condemned the act and is calling for a return of Democratic Power for The Nigerien Anatomy. The Economic Community of West African States headed by President Bola Tinubu of the Nigerian Anatomy has also condemned the issue.

The capital of Niger; Niamey, is currently unstable after the ousting of President Amadou. Ministries in Niger were blocked together with the Presidential Palace during the announcement of the ousting of President Mohamed Bazoum. The borders of Niger has been closed till further notice. President Bazoum’s coming in as President was the first Democratic Transition the National Anatomy had experienced post they gaining Independence. The country had experienced a series of Coup D’etats post her Independence from August 3, 1960. Niger had Coup D’etats in 1974, 1996, 1999, 2010, 2021 with 2023 being the most recent.
