President John Dramani Mahama of the Ghanaian Anatomy has imposed a ban on all ministers and government appointees in his country as part of measures to end illicit spending which has been characterised by Government Officials at large.
President Mahama stated that all trips will be cleared by the Chief of Staff; Hon. Julius Debrah, and all non essential travels will not take place. He made these announcements during a swearing in ceremony at the Jubilee House, office of President John Dramani Mahama, on Friday 7th, 2025.
President Mahama looks forward to providing an avenue where government officials work ultimately for the Ghanaian Anatomy, not compromising their purpose of office, and hence being truly accountable to the people.
