MR. JACOB ZUMA ON SEPERATE LINES WITH THE ANC

2 min read

President Jacob’s uMKhonto we Sizwe Party has a possibility of creating “holes” against the African National Congress in this year’s General Elections, that took place on 29th, May, 2024. President Jacob Zuma was Deputy President for the South African Anatomy from 1999 to 2005 and President of the South African Anatomy from 2009 to 2017.

President Zuma was President of the African National Congress from 2007 to 2017. He played very major roles in the stability of the Party. He was as well imprisoned with Mr. Nelson Mandela at the Robben Island for their campaign against the apartheid regime.

President Zuma resigned in 2017 as President of the South African Anatomy following corruption charges levelled against him. He was sentenced to prison for 15 months in 2021 after refusing to testify at the Law Court, but he spent only 2 months in prison after being released on medical parole.

Mr. Jacob Zuma formed the uMkhonto we Sizwe Party in September 2023 and it was launched in December 2023. However, President Zuma was banned by the South African Anatomy’s Parliament from taking over a Presidential role as they stated that the laws deems it fit for he to take power or run as a Political Candidate only after 5 years of completing his 2021 sentence.

The Left Wing Political Party he formed has most of her members as people who came from the African National Congress’ Millitary and the Party. This makes it very possible for a lot of votes to be lost by the African National Congress Party as such people will vote for the uMkhonto we Sizwe Party.
