Kwabena Agyapong, a Ghanaian Civil Engineer, Politician and one-time former General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party, a center-right political party in Ghana, filed his nomination forms on 26th August, 2025, at the party’s office in Accra-Ghana.
The filings for flag bearership opened on 29th July 2025 and will be closing on 28th August 2025 ahead of the Presidential Primary slated for January 31st, 2026.
Kwabena Agyapong, born on March 9th, 1962, served as Press Secretary to President John Kuffuor from 2001 to 2006 and has also served as a General Secretary of the Party from 2014 to May 2015.
