Sensational Musician from the Ghanaian Anatomy; Maradona Yeboah Adjei, popularly known as Guru is now the Student Representative Council President of the University of Ghana, Ghana’s Premier University.

Guru toppled the elections by winning 9, 455 votes out of 18,659 votes cast. His 50. 7 percent win made him first followed by Lawrence Edinam Egleh, who had 6, 645 votes.

The Global Freedom Board of AFRICAN VOICES INTERNATIONAL congratulates Mr. Maradona Yeboah popularly known as Guru, for his relentlessness after he was disqualified earlier on by the Students Representative Council’s Electoral Commission of the University, because of his non-residential status.

Gurus legal team filed a petition and fought for an injunction appealing for a suspension of the election, till a hearing took place. Post the hearing, the Appeal Board voted unanimously for him, via 7-0 win. He later won the elections with over 50 percent of the votes.
