GHANA-MALAWIAN ANATOMIES REACH VISA AGREEMENT

The Ghanaian and Malawian Anatomies have signed a corporate agreement to allow citizens of both countries travel within their geographical locations without any visa.

This agreement allows both citizens to travel to each other’s country for a period of 90 days in a year provided they are not working. Below is a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration on 21st March – “The Ministry of Affairs and Regional Intergration wishes to inform the public that the Republic of Ghana and the Republic of Malawi desirous of strengthening bilateral relations and existing cooperation have entered into an agreement on visa waiver regime for holders of ordinary, diplomatic and service passports which took effect from 7 February, 2024.”

Hon. Shirley Ayorkor Botchway, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration has commended the Malawian Government for cooperating well in this bilateral agreement as she hopes this will foster Integration and unity amongst both countries, respectively.
