BON KALINDO LEADS PROTEST AGAINST PRESIDENT CHAKWERA, OF THE MALAWIAN ANATOMY

Bon Kalindo, a Human Rights Activist, Comedian and Actor from The Malawian Anatomy led masses to demonstrate against the tenure of office of President Lazarus Chakwera, who is currently the President of The Malawian Anatomy. Police were deployed at the venue to bring order at the venue of demonstration.

The demonstration was held on November 30th by Bon Kalindo and his people due to the high cost of living as well as the develaution of the Malawian currency. Bon Kalindo asked the President to end his Presidency due to the economic difficulties being faced in the nation. The Police arrested at least 40 people who were part of the protests against President Chakwera’s presidency for their suspected involvement in the damaging of buildings, motors and offices.

The demonstrations took place in Mangochi located in the Southern region of Malawi. Blockades were put by the Police at various vantage points to ease the tensions released by the demonstrators. This protest is the second after the first which was held in Zomba on November 23rd in Malawi.
