BOLAJI AGBEDE FROM THE NIGERIAN ANATOMY, NEW INTERIM CEO OF ACCESS BANK

Access Bank has named Bolaji Agbede as the Chief Executive Officer of the Bank in the interim session after the demise of their founder, Herbert Wigwe, who died in a helicopter accident in February 2024, in America.

Ms. Agbede has served the bank for almost 3 decades after joining from 2003 and has much indepth experience as she takes over the position. Ms. Bolaji was appointed as a Assistant General Manager when she joined first in 2003. She was the senior most founding Executive Director prior to this new appointment.

Access Bank was founded by Herbert Wigwe in 1989 and has become one of the biggest Banks in Nigeria and Africa. The GLOBAL FREEDOM BOARD of AFRICAN VOICES INTERNATIONAL congratulates Bolaji Agbede for her new position. We entreat her to continue the good works of Herbert Wigwe and continue raising the name of Global Women in Leadership.
