President Mahama of the Ghanaian Anatomy on Monday 13th January, met with independent power producers where discussions were focused on partnerships between the Government of Ghana, and the private energy firms towards boosting the country’s power supply.

With the presence of the Akosombo Dam, the Kpong Dam and the Bui Dam, Ghana has still been experiencing power cuts constantly. President Mahama noted that his former tenure from 2013 to 2016 introduced the Energy Sector Levy Act to clear debts accrued in the energy sector, but those funds have been mismanaged by the previous government that took power from 2016 to 2024.

Mr. Mahama admitted that the country needed a clear and followed path towards solving Ghana’s energy crisis. He encouraged all private and foreign investors to come to the scene, towards joining hands in revamping the energy crisis, for the amelioration of the Ghanaian Anatomy and all residents living currently in Ghana.
