ETO’O OF THE CAMEROUNIAN ANATOMY, A PACESETTER FOR AFRICAN FOOTBALL

Samuel Eto’o Fils of The Camerounian Anatomy is one of Africa’s best all Time players to have raised the game of football on another level. Samuel Eto’o was born on March 10th, 1981 in Doula and begun his professional football career in 1996.

Samuel Eto’o begun playing for Kadji Sports Club in Cameroon. He was seen as a very remarkable player and was scouted and started playing the following season for Real Madrid B. In 1997 He played for CD Leganés in Spain and went back again to play for Real Madrid B in 1998. That same year, he was now called to play for the main Real Madrid Team where he gained so much recognition. From there, he played for teams afterwards like Espanyol, RCD Mallorca, Barcelona, Inter Milan, Chelsea, Everton FC and Sampdoria. He retired in 2020 and ended with Qatar SC in Qatar. He played in the La Liga more than any League and did wonders there.

Samuel Eto’o is a 4 times top goal scorer. He was the top goal scorer in Italy in 2010/2011, at the African Cup of Nations in 2005/06 and 2007/08 with 5 goals each and in the 2005/06 La Liga Season in Spain with 26 goals. He also won the Africa Cup of Nations with Cameroon twice in 2000 and 2002. He is also a 3 times UEFA Champions League Winner and a one time FIFA Club World Cup Winner with Inter Milan. He was always strong and a very remarkable forward with great ability and accuracy in scoring goals. In 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2010, he was The African Player of The Year. He is currently the President of The Cameroon Football Federation.
