The drones are suspected to be Iranian-made, and their origin is likely linked to Iran’s retaliation against US and Israeli targets. The attack on the embassy is part of a broader conflict involving Iran, the US, and Israel, with multiple countries in the region being targeted.
AFRICAN VOICES INTERNATIONAL strongly condemns the recent US-Israel strikes on Iran and the drone attacks on the US Embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. We believe that these actions are counterproductive and will only lead to further escalation and instability in the region.
The killing of Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is a grave concern, and we urge all parties to exercise restraint and seek a peaceful resolution to the conflict. The use of drones and other forms of violence will only perpetuate a cycle of retaliation and harm innocent civilians.
We call for an immediate ceasefire and a return to diplomatic efforts to address the underlying issues driving the conflict. Reconciliation and dialogue are the only prudent measures for achieving lasting peace and stability in the region.
