TUC AND LABOUR UNION OF THE NIGERIAN ANATOMY SUSPEND THEIR STRIKE SLATED FOR TUESDAY, 3RD OF OCTOBER, 2023

The Organised Labour have suspended their strike scheduled for Tuesday 3rd October as both parties(Trade Union Congress and Nationa Labour Commission) are embarking on new talks with the Government of The Nigerian Anatomy, to make better their demands. The strike has been suspended for 30 days as appended and signed by Joe Ajaero; President of Nigeria Labour Congress, Festus Osifo; President of Trade Union Congress Nuhu Toro; Secretary General, of The Trade Union Congress for the Nigerian Anatomy.

As at Monday 2nd October, a new meeting took place with the Government and both parties and this has led to a suspension of the strike which was to take place from 3rd October. All Workers have been ordered to go to work and resume their duties as talks are going on between The Government and The Parties. Most Workers resumed work on Tuesday and are looking forward to see to it that, their needs are being met.

The strike which was set to have taken place on Tuesday 3rd October, 2023 was a nationwide strike as all workers had prepared to be out of work and express their grievances to the sitting Government. The Labour Union of Nigeria had ordered all members within their Union to be our from work after the Government had still not satisfied seven requests made by the National Labour Commission and The Trades Union Congress to enhance the living and working conditions of Workers in general from The Nigerian Anatomy.
