The first country to ever recognise Palestine as a State was Algeria in 1988. The continuous rise in States recognising Palestine as a State, adds to the Palestine’s strength in the claim of defence for their territories in the Palestine-Israel Conflict. The United Kingdom and United States as well, a major ally to the Israeli Anatomy, have all not recognised Palestine as a State.

Fighting begun around 1947 and became heated when the United Nations adopted a Partition Plan which aimed at dividing the British Protectorate’s region of the Palestinian Anatomy’s into separate zones for the Jews and the Palestines.

The Palestinians are fighting for the Gaza Strip and West Bank which been geographically occupied by the Israelis since 1967 during the 6 day war, where the Israel took control of 3 territories from Syria, Jordan and Egypt namely, West Bank, Gaza Strip and East Jerusalem which Palestine see as their future capital.
