The Government of Britain have promised to support the Ethiopian Anatomy with £100 million to help deal with the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the country.

The Tigray War was a war that lasted from 3rd November 2020 to 3rd November 2022 between the Tigray Rebels on one side and the Federal Government of Ethiopia and the Eritrean Anatomy also on one side. This war led to at least 2,750,000 people displaced and 13,000,000 in need of food aid. After years of increased tensions between both sides, the Ethiopian Government counterattacked after stating that the Tigray fighters attacked the Ethiopian Forces Northern Command base. Schools were closed down to prevent increased child deaths in the region. During this period, sexual violence was very rampant.

On 2nd November 2022, the Ethiopian Government and the Tigray forces signed a deal to end hostilities. Due to the increased vulnerabilities by the internally displaced people, sicknesses, lack of food aid and increased health challenges, the British Government has committed towards providing financial aid to help ease tensions and make lives better for The Ethiopian Anatomy.

The Global Freedom Board of AFRICAN VOICES INTERNATIONAL commends the British Anatomy for their support for various African countries aside the Ethiopian Anatomy as the Somalian and Nigerian Anatomies. We also commend the British Anatomy for being the fifth biggest donor in foreign aid in the world currently. According to the Government of Ethiopia, at least 3 million people will receive life saving aids from the British Government including mothers.
