Prof. Ransford Gyampo, a Senior lecturer at the Political Science Department of the University of Ghana, has been appointed as the acting Director of the Ghana Shippers’ Authority.
His appointment revokes the recent appointment by the former President for the Ghanaian Anatomy; Pres. Nana Akufo-Addo, who appointed Mr. Kwesi Baffuor Sarpong as the head in December 2023.
Prof. Gyampo’s appointment takes place with immediate effect from 30th January 2025, via a letter stated from the Executive Secretary for President Mahama, Dr. Calistus Mahama. Mr. Kwesi Baffuor Sarpong has been charged to hand over his duties with immediate effect to Prof. Ransford Gyampo for a smooth transition.
