Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy warned that Russian President Vladimir Putin has already initiated World War III, urging increased military and economic pressure to halt his aggression. “I think Putin has already started it. The question is how far he’ll go and how we stop him,” Zelenskyy told the BBC.
President Zelenskyy dismissed Russia’s demand for Ukraine to cede 20% of Donetsk, calling it a betrayal of Ukrainians living there. “Stopping Putin now is a win for everyone,” he said, as Putin won’t stop at Ukraine.
President Zelenskyy vowed to reclaim occupied territories, citing it’s a matter of time, but lamented the lack of sufficient arms and air defense systems.
