President Alasane Quattara has celebrated the Elephants of Cote D’Ivore for winning the just ended AFCON tournament hosted in their country. The Ivorian Anatomy after almost being kicked out of the tournament at the group stages relentlessly fought hard and won the tournament by winning 2-1 against The Nigerian Anatomy.
The Assistant Coach Emerse Faé who became the Main Coach after their main Coach; Coach Jean-Louis Gasset, was sacked has received £150,000 Euros whilst each player has also been rewarded with £76,000 Euros. All Team officials were also awarded with the status of the Commander with coaches and football players with the status of Chevalier and Officers.
The Ivorian Anatomy after winning the just ended tournament adds thus feat to their third time of winning the AfCON Tournament. Emmanuel Adebayor, retired footballer from the Togolese Anatomy brought the trophy and the trophy was presented by President Quattara of the Ivorian Anatomy and Dr. Motsepe who stands as CAF President.
