PRESIDENT BOLA TINUBU OF THE NIGERIAN ANATOMY NAMED AFTER AN AIRPORT

As part of measures by the Nigerian Aviation Authorities to rename 15 federal airports after phenomenal Nigerians, The Nigerian Anatomy’s Federal Government has named Minna International Airport after President Bola Tinubu.

President Bola Tinubu was present on Monday 11th March 2024 at the airport for the launching of the remodelled and upgraded terminals of the new airport named after him.

The Airport was named after President Tinubu because of his immense contributions to the country, according to the Aviation authorities. The airport was initially called Abubakar Imam International Airport which was named after a famous journalist who spearheaded the first newspaper in Northern Nigeria to be published in Hausa.
