In International Women’s Month for 2025, AFRICAN VOICES INTERNATIONAL focuses today on Michelle Obama, the wife of the 44th President of the American Anatomy, Mr. Barrack Obama who served as President from 2009 to 2017.
Michelle Obama worked with non-profit organisations throughout her life before becoming first lady. She later at the University of Chicago became the Associate Dean of Student Services.

Michelle Obama was a staunch campaign supporter for President Obama’s campaigns for 2008 and 2012. During her time as first lady, she launched the Let’s Move! initiative to reduce childhood obesity through the provision of healthy food, the Reach Higher Initiative to also encourage young ones from the American Anatomy to accelerate their education, amongst others.
She wrote one of the best-selling books known as Becoming and has become known as one of the most influential women by Time Magazine in 2019.
