JUSTICE HARUNA TSAMMANI OF THE NIGERIAN ANATOMY DISMISSES CLAIMS BY PETER OBI

PEPC which is the Presidential Election Petition Court for The Nigerian Anatomy has ruled against the claims by Peter Obi who stood as the Political Candidate for the 2023 February 25th Nigerian Elections which was won by President Bola Tinubu.

Mr. Peter Obi was third in the Elections with 6,101,533 votes taking 25.40% whilst Mr. Atiku Abubakar came second with 6,984,520 votes taking 29.07% whilst Mr. Bola Tinubu came first with 8,794,726 votes taking 36.61% of the entire votes.

Peter Obi claimed that the Elections was filled with various malpractices and irregularities and the outcome of the Elections were rigged to favour President Bola Tinubu. Justice Haruna Tsammani stated that Mr. Peter Obi who claimed that the Elections were rigged, failed to give locations of the polling stations where he claimed the results were changed.

The Head Judge; Haruna Tsamman, also dismissed the claims said that Mr. Peter Obi did not have any legal evidence ascertaining to his claim that President Bola Tinubu was unqualified for the Elections.

Justice Haruna Tsammani also stated that Mr. Peter Obi had no claims of Mr. Bola Tinubu being convicted of money laundering in Uinted States and drug trafficking.
