ETHNOGRAPHIC OBJECTS OF THE UGANDAN ANATOMY’S TO BE LOANED TO THE KAMPALA MUSEUM

39 ethnographic objects of Ugandan Ancestry at the University of Cambridge’s Museum have been loaned to Uganda for three years as part of measures by the Ugandan Anatomy, in building on their culture as they reflect on their past.

The ethnographic objects will be kept at Uganda’s Capital; Kampala, for exhibitions. The Ugandan Museum’s Directory are believing the same gesture by the Cambridge University will take place elsewhere and most possibly, this time be returned permanently and not on a loan as they reflect on their independence which they took from Britain in 1962.

These ethnographic objects have been owned by the Cambridge University for about a century now after they were donated by the public and some most notably by an Anglican Missionary present in the 1890s in Uganda.
