CONTINUOUS LOSS OF LIVES IN REFUGEE CAMPS – SUDANESE ANATOMY

1 min read

Children and pregnant women from the Sudanese Anatomy continue to die in Sudan following their displacement, which has led most people to famine prone areas where there are little chances of survival.

Most humanitarian responses to these displaced people have been reached, leading to children dying at least every 3 hours, raising questions on various initiatives taken to prevent such children from dying.

The conflict between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Paramilitary Support Forces (RPSF) from the Sudanese Anatomy, has led to displacements of thousands of innocent ones from their homes to camps and outside their countries as refugees whiles some of them receive poor or little humanitarian aid.

In West Darfur, the Kerenik refugee camp hosts over 100, 000 refugees as the El Geneina refugee camp in West Darfur also hosts over 50,000 refugees. Areas in North Darfur such as the Kabkabiya and Tawila refugee camps also hosts over 15,000 refugees each. There are several camps in Sudan who all have various issues of containing their refugees and providing adequate meals for them.
