The Aliko Dangote Foundation has implemented a food aid programme to provide 1 million 10 kg bags of rice throughout the entire region of Nigeria to help those in hunger as well as in need. The programme is supposed to begun within the first weeks of April 2024.
Aliko Dangote, an Indusrialist and Business Man from the Nigerian Anatomy who leads as Head of Aliko Dangote Foundation has reiterated his concern towards helping those in need especially during the Ramadan period. The foundation seeks to ensure a society where each individual has the opportunity to fulfil their potentials and lead dignified and prosperous lives.
The Aliko Dangote Foundation has been consistent since the 1990s in providing food aid to those in need in Kano State, and to people in mosques, schools, hospitals and others.
